Worship Team

Our Worship Teams lead worship most weeks on Sunday mornings. Commitments are from 1-3 weeks per month. Rehearsals are typically Wednesday evenings. If you sing, play guitar, drums, percussion, keyboard or horn, contact Janna Kooi for an audition.

Instrumental/Musical Ensembles                                    If you play an instrument, either orchestral, folk or rock and roll – let us know. We’d like to use your talents in worship leadership! See Janna Kooi for more information. 

Choirs

Chancel Choir sings in worship on Sunday mornings approximately twice a month and also at special events and Holiday services. All ages, high school through adult, are welcome! Other Fifth choirs include: Celebration Choir (open for all ages of singers who cannot commit to weekly choir rehearsals, but desire to participate seasonally or per an event), King’s Kids (Children’s Choir - a singing ensemble for kids in grades 1st - 8th) and Jubilation Ringers (Bell Choir).

Drama Team 

The Drama Team at Fifth enhances worship experiences on occasional Sunday mornings and for special services, events, and gatherings. Leader: Paula Vanderzee. 

Dance Ministry

For all ages, the Dance Ministry is directed by long-time team leader/instructor, Sue Wilson. Dancers lead in worship approximately every six weeks.

Visual Arts (Décor)

The Visual Arts Team is currently looking for new members. They initiate seasonal worship space décor changes, including creating banners, seasonal flowers, candles, etc. Please contact Janna Kooi with questions    or to show your interest.

Media Arts (Audio and Computer)

The Media Arts Team produces images and sounds to enhance the worship experience at Fifth. If you have an aptitude or love for things technological, we’d love to have you minister on one of these teams. Do you love creating PowerPoint projects? Do you have experience on a sound board?
